Drift-Ready S14 Spotted - Making the Most of My Days

Do you commute to and from work with heavy traffic? Well, luckily I normally don't, but I happened to be when this pulled up beside me:

All of a sudden, my imagination went wild. All of the drifting videos I've seen on YouTube began flashing through my head, and it was real proof that, amongst us (or my area at least), there is a man who has actually experienced legitimate drifting (assuming that he just came back from an event and was the driver of the car on the trailer as he was sliding sideways around a track) , not what I like to call 'drifting,' which is driving to my local public school parking lot and taking sharp turns while pulling on the hand brake occasionally in my FWD car, but real legitimate drifting.

Being who I am, I like to make people's days better whenever I get the chance. If I see I car I like, and the driver doesn't seem like an asshat, then I usually get their attention, point at their car, and give them a thumbs up. Other things I do is give whatever money I have on me to the occasional homeless man on the side of the street, but not any homeless man. Oh no. I only give to the homeless with a smile on their face, or at least the ones that smile back after I give them a smile.

Back to being and traffic and experiencing an overwhelming sense of excitement, I pulled up to his F-150, and waited there next to him while looking at him. Eventually he finally looked to his right and noticed me looking at him. Naturally he gives me a fairly aggressive "what do you want?" face, but after he noticed that my face had the expression of a 5 year-old that got his first bicycle, he gave me a more friendly look. I then was hoping he would roll his window down, which he didn't (because he probably was still processing why there was a stranger staring at him and also because nobody wants to whenever its 100 degrees outside), so I then resorted to hand signs. I put two fists in front of me and started to violently twist them as if I was turning a steering wheel very quickly from side to side, then I pointed backwards towards his trailer, and then I gave him a thumbs up. He then nodded letting me know that he got the message and also smiled.

I try to make the best of my days whenever I have the chance to. This was one of the most memorable things that I have done that hopefully also made someone else's day.

Whoever you are, young man with an F-150, a trailer, and a drift-ready S14, I would definitely want to meet you again and have a nice conversation about pretty much anything (which will most definitely include you experiences drifting) over a cup of coffee or a nice American burger.
